Xbox Series X25 Announced: Price, Release Date, Halo: Combat Evolved Bundle
Microsoft has finally put hard numbers and dates on its latest anniversary hardware: Xbox Series X25, a limited-edition console created to celebrate 25 years of Xbox. After confirming details during Gamescom 2026, the company says the system is coming before the year ends, bundled with a commemorative controller and a copy of Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Xbox Series X25: release window, bundle, and reservation rules
The Xbox Series X25 is positioned as a collector-focused edition. Microsoft says it will arrive with the following items included from day one:

Pre-orders open shortly after Microsoft’s Gamescom confirmation. Key dates include:
- 27 August 2026 at 16:00 (Spain time) for general reservations
- 13 November 2026 for the official console release
- 20 October 2026 for the commemorative controller to be sold separately
Microsoft says reservations will go live through the official Xbox store and participating distributors in selected markets. It also notes that some Xbox ecosystem users will receive early access invitations by email.
