Pokémon TCG Celebrates 30 Years With New Pikachu Cards and Futuristic Rarity

The Pokémon Company kicked off June by unveiling its 30th Anniversary Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, bringing a big wave of celebratory content for long-time players and collectors. The set is set to feature 30 different Pikachu cards, a selection of fan-favorite Legendary Pokémon, a portion of reprinted cards pulled from the TCG’s past, and a brand-new card rarity called Futuristic Rare (FUR).

Some card reveals had already landed, but the company still hadn’t shown how players could actually pull many of the new cards. That changed today, with the full lineup of product types for the 30th Anniversary expansion—so you can plan your pre-orders and budget around the formats that matter most.

Release Lineup: Every Confirmed Product for the Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary Expansion

Today’s reveal lays out the complete slate of purchasable products tied to the 30th Anniversary Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion (images are expected later). Below is everything that’s been confirmed so far, including collector-focused boxes, specialty bundles, tins, and blister options.

Product type What’s included
Ultra Premium Collection (Espeon and Umbreon) 30 packs plus two promos per box, including SAR Espeon with FUR Pikachu or SAR Umbreon with FUR Pikachu
Ditto Premium Collection 8 30th Anniversary packs plus a Ditto promo

Elite Trainer Box and Pokémon Center Exclusive Elite Trainer Box

As with other Pokémon TCG releases, this expansion brings an Elite Trainer Box (ETB) along with a Pokémon Center Exclusive ETB version. These are typically among the most chased items in a set, and this one looks no different thanks to the exclusive stamped promo and the overall pack value.

This time, the ETB promo card is Nidorina.

Ultra Premium Collection (Espeon and Umbreon)

The Ultra Premium Collections for this anniversary are likely to be the hottest products in the entire 30th Anniversary lineup. The previous UPC was already difficult to track down, and with the Pokémon TCG community growing even more over time, demand for these is expected to be intense.

There are two separate UPCs. Each box includes 30 packs and two promos. One UPC pairs an SAR Espeon with a FUR Pikachu, while the other pairs an SAR Umbreon with a FUR Pikachu. If you’re chasing the new FUR rarity, this is the one to watch closely.

Tech Sticker Collection

This expansion will also include a Tech Sticker Collection. Players can choose between Lucario and Alolan Exeggutor as the featured character, and each version comes with two packs, a sticker, a coin, and a promo.

Eevee Two Pack Blister

Details for the Eevee Two Pack Blister are listed as part of the revealed product range, with the blister format indicating a two-pack purchase.

Ditto Premium Collection

The Ditto Premium Collection is also part of the confirmed lineup. It includes a Ditto promo along with eight packs from the 30th Anniversary set.

Greninja ex and Sylveon ex Collection Boxes

Collection boxes are coming featuring Greninja ex and Sylveon ex. Each box is described as including both a jumbo-sized promo card and a regular-sized promo card, plus four packs.

Mew and Mewtwo Premium Figure Collections

The Mew and Mewtwo Premium Figure Collections round out the premium figure category. Each purchase includes a range of packs, a Mew or Mewtwo promo (available in both jumbo and regular sizes), and a matching Mew or Mewtwo figure.

Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Deck

Battle Decks are included for Espeon ex and Umbreon ex, and while collectors don’t always prioritize deck products, these are positioned differently. Each deck includes an additional Victini or Zeraora promo, which should make them more appealing to anyone trying to complete the promotional side of the set.

Binder Collection

The Pokémon Company is also leaning into binder collectors with a dedicated Binder Collection. This bundle includes a 30th-themed binder and five packs.

Greninja ex Tin and Sylveon ex Tin

Two tin options are planned: one featuring Greninja ex and one featuring Sylveon ex. Both are described as fairly standard tins that use the same promo setup as the corresponding Greninja ex and Sylveon ex collection boxes, plus either four or five packs depending on the specific tin.

Day and Night Mini Tins

Finally, the lineup includes Mini Tins themed around “day” and “night” Pokémon. These mini tins are designed as a smaller format option and contain two packs each.

Important note: because this is being treated as a holiday-style set, there will be no Booster Box.
