Best SCAR-H Loadout for Black Ops 2 Multiplayer on PS4/PS5

Players are revisiting Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, jumping back into the multiplayer meta on next-gen hardware. If you’ve noticed more opponents getting shredded by the SCAR-H, it’s a strong contender for one of the top Assault Rifles in the game—so here’s a recommended SCAR-H setup if you want to compete.

Best SCAR-H Class Setup in Black Ops 2

Best SCAR-H Build

  • Suppressor: Helps keep you off enemy radar while firing. It does lower effective range, but only slightly.
  • Adjustable Stock: Improves your movement speed while aiming, letting you strafe more effectively and throw off opponents.
  • Extended Clip: Adds more rounds per magazine. It raises magazine capacity from 30 to 40 and increases reserve ammo from 90 to 120.

For my SCAR-H loadout, I went with a familiar, early Black Ops 2 favorite: Suppressor, Adjustable Stock, and Extended Clip. It’s built to be a well-rounded, hard-hitting, all-purpose option, and it also keeps your view anchored with clean iron sights. If you find the reload timing a bit slow, you can swap to Fast Mag for a faster turnaround.

Best Perks & Wildcards

  • Hardline (Perk 1)
  • Toughness and Scavenger (Perk 2)
  • Dexterity (Perk 3)
  • Primary Gunfighter (Wildcard 1)
  • Perk 2 Greed (Wildcard 2)

I’m using both Wildcards to reshape the Perks and SCAR-H setup around three attachments rather than two. That’s why Primary Gunfighter is non-negotiable if you want the three-attachment SCAR-H. For the second Wildcard slot, Perk 2 Greed is my preferred choice overall, though you can replace it if you don’t like how it changes your perk layout.

On the Perk side, Hardline is there to help you earn Scorestreaks faster. Toughness is paired for reduced flinch, and Scavenger helps refill ammunition you lose after getting eliminated. Dexterity is also a personal staple because it speeds up aim down sights after sprinting—something you’ll likely do a lot while playing Black Ops 2.

That said, some players prefer a Ghost + Dead Silence approach. If that fits your style better, feel free to run those instead of Dexterity and Hardline.
