Black Ops 2 Voice Cast: Complete Campaign & Zombies Actor List
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is back on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and a lot of players are jumping in to revisit the old-school Campaign and Zombies experience. If you’ve already cleared the missions and want to dig into the performers behind each character, here’s a complete look at the Black Ops 2 voice cast for both the Campaign and Zombies.
Black Ops 2 Campaign: Full Voice Cast by Character
Alex Mason
Alex Mason is voiced by Sam Worthington, reprising the role from Call of Duty: Black Ops. Worthington is widely known for playing Jake Sully in the Avatar franchise. He’s also taken on roles such as Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation, Perseus in Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans, and Captain Glover in Hacksaw Ridge.
David Mason
David Mason is voiced by Rich McDonald exclusively in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. McDonald’s most recognized credit is Corporal Anthony “Manimal” Jacks in HBO’s Generation Kill. Other work includes Brad in God Bless America, multiple characters in Daytime Divas, and Jonathan Gates in SEAL Patrol.
Raul Menendez
Kamar de los Reyes takes on the role of Raul Menendez, the Campaign’s main antagonist and one of the series’ most memorable villains.
De los Reyes has also appeared as Antonio Vega in One Life to Live, Jobe in Sleepy Hollow, and Ryan Caradine in The Rookie.
Frank Woods
Frank Woods is voiced by James C. Burns in Black Ops 2, reprising his part from the first game. While Woods may be his most defining role, he’s also shown up in the Like a Dragon franchise as Masaru Watase and Takaaki Matsunaga, and he has additional credits including appearances in V/H/S/Beyond, General Hospital, and Cold Water.
Mike Harper
Michael Rooker provides the voice for Mike Harper—and it’s a fun crossover moment for Call of Duty fans. It isn’t his only connection to the franchise, either: he also plays himself in the Black Ops Zombies map Call of the Dead. He’s further reprised Mike Harper again in Black Ops 7.
Outside of Call of Duty, Rooker is known for playing Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead and Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
Black Ops 2 Zombies: Every Crew and Voice
Victis Crew (TranZit, Die Rise, Buried)
The Victis Crew are the characters you control across TranZit, Die Rise, and Buried. This group includes Misty (Abigail Briarton), Marlton Johnson, Russman, and Samuel Stuhlinger. Here’s who voices each member:
- Stephanie Lemelin as Misty (Abigail Briarton): Known for roles including Artemis Crock in Young Justice and Eep in Dawn of the Croods.
- Scott Menville as Marlton Johnson: Best known for voicing Robin in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!.
- Keith Szarabajka as Russman: Has appeared in major video game work such as Gilgamesh in the Final Fantasy series, and he’s also worked in live-action projects like Argo, The Equalizer, and Supernatural.
- David Boat as Samuel Stuhlinger: Credits include Lexaeus/Aeleus in the Kingdom Hearts series, Lord Vorselon and other characters in the Ratchet & Clank series, and Kyle in Fortnite: Save the World.
Mob of the Dead Crew
The Mob of the Dead Crew consists of four playable inmates: The Weasel (Albert Arlington), Billy Handsome, Salvatore DeLuca, and Finn O’Leary. These characters are cursed to fight endless waves of the undead in a nightmare version of Alcatraz, repeating the loop until the cycle is finally broken.

- Joe Pantoliano as The Weasel (Albert Arlington): Prominent roles include Cypher in The Matrix, Ralph Cifaretto in The Sopranos, and Teddy in Memento.
- Ray Liotta as Billy Handsome: Best known for Henry Hill in Goodfellas. Other major roles include Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams, Ray Sinclair in Something Wild, and Paul Krendler in Hannibal.
- Chazz Palminteri as Salvatore DeLuca: Best known for Sonny LoSpecchio in A Bronx Tale, Cheech in Bullets Over Broadway, and Joe Bonanno in Godfather of Harlem.
- Michael Madsen as Finn O’Leary: Best known for his collaborations with Quentin Tarantino, including Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs, Budd in both Kill Bill films, and Joe Gage in The Hateful Eight.
Primis Crew (Origins and beyond)
The Primis Crew features the younger versions of some of the most recognizable figures from the Call of Duty Zombies storyline: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen. All four are playable in Origins, and players also encounter Edward Richtofen speaking with the Victis Crew during Black Ops 2’s long-form Easter Egg quest.
Here’s the voice cast for Primis:
- Nolan North as Edward Richtofen: Appears in many major games, including Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, Desmond Miles in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and the voice of your Ghost companion in the Destiny franchise.
- Steve Blum as Tank Dempsey: Has a wide range of voice roles, such as Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop, Orochimaru and Zabuza Momochi in the English dub of Naruto, and Wolverine in multiple Marvel projects.
- Fred Tatasciore as Nikolai Belinski: He also voices Ludwig Maxis. Other notable roles include The Hulk in multiple Marvel projects, Soldier: 76 in Overwatch, and Damon Baird in the Gears of War series.
- Tom Kane as Takeo Masaki: His most prominent work includes Yoda in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Professor Utonium in The Powerpuff Girls, Magneto in Wolverine and the X-Men, and Ultron in The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
