LEAK: $200 LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade Set Teased for Nintendo Fans

A fresh LEGO release tied to Nintendo’s Donkey Kong universe has surfaced via a leak online, and it’s reportedly set to ring up for $200 when it lands in stores. LEGO and Nintendo have been working together for a number of years now, producing multiple builds drawn from well-known video game franchises. While some of those products lean toward older, more display-focused builders, others are structured to appeal to a wider range of fans.

LEGO is also pulling back the curtain on four new Pokémon sets, and if you’re the type of collector who wants the full lineup, the total price will likely require some serious budgeting.

Earlier this year, LEGO teased a Donkey Kong set, and now the official packaging art appears to have been leaked on Reddit. The build is centered on the 1981 Donkey Kong arcade cabinet, with DK, Mario, and Pauline featured around the border of the box. The set is listed as a 1,367-piece project and is said to recreate the game’s 25m stage, including a number of recognizable moments and details. DK is shown in a throwing-barrel pose, while Mario is depicted preparing to dodge a hazard. Elements like hammers, ladders, and fireballs are all represented in LEGO form, and Pauline is shown calling out for help.
