GTA Online Announces Kortz Center Heist, Launching July 14

Grand Theft Auto Online is getting a fresh high-stakes job next month: Rockstar has confirmed the arrival of the Kortz Center Heist on July 14. The new mission sends crews into Los Santos’ top-tier art museum, turning the spotlight from street crime to gallery-grade theft.

In the heist, you’ll team up with a pair of contacts tied to the operation—Mr. Faber and his fixer, Raf De Angelis. Together, you’ll plan the job, prepare the gear, and go after the gallery’s most valuable exhibits while also working your way through standard heist-style setup and execution. On top of that, the update adds a new art exhibit feature that lets players showcase pieces from their own collections.

How the GTA Online Kortz Center Heist works

Before you can jump into the Kortz Center Heist, you’ll need the Art Studio expansion at your mansion. Once it’s unlocked, an NPC counterfeiter moves in and begins crafting forgeries that will be used to swap out the target items. Along the way, you’ll also unlock additional equipment and technology to support the run-up to the finale.

In structure, the job follows a similar pattern to other heist setups you may already know. After all the prep work is complete, you can choose a custom loadout using the stockpile you’ve built up. From there, the mission is playable both solo and with a larger crew, with room for up to three additional players.

Recon at the Kortz Center

The mission proper begins with scouting the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs. Your tasks focus on photographing paintings while staying under the radar, plus mapping out escape routes in case things go sideways. The more thorough your recon is, the better your outcome—since the museum includes Secondary Targets in addition to the main paintings.

Identifying those Secondary Targets during the scope phase can materially increase what you walk away with. It’s not just about grabbing the headline exhibits; it’s about finding the extra value hidden in the same building.

Stealth rewards and higher payout

Rockstar is also putting a clear emphasis on discretion. Art that’s known to be stolen typically fetches less, so keeping things quiet and avoiding unnecessary attention helps protect your payout. The game pushes you toward removing witnesses and wiping CCTV footage to stay in control of how the operation unfolds.

That means you’ll be leaning into stealthy theft alongside your standard heist planning tools, aiming to maximize the return when you leave the museum behind.

Replay value via rotating exhibitions

The Kortz Center Heist is designed to keep coming back. Players will be able to “frame” their earnings by tying them to exhibitions, and the exhibit content is set to refresh: it includes three separate unique paintings each week. That weekly rotation gives you a reason to return for additional rewards tied to what’s currently on display.

Other GTA Online rewards arriving with the update

If you’re checking out the broader update picture, there are additional items alongside the heist. GTA+ subscribers can claim the Grotti Veleno GT starting July 14, with the car going up for sale for everyone else a week later.

Rockstar is also adding new Supercars and Drift vehicles to GTA Online alongside the Kortz Center Heist. And if you’re planning ahead for what comes next, there’s the usual reminder to stock up with Shark Cards to support the Take-Two slate—especially as anticipation builds for GTA 6.
