Find the Schematics

  • Prerequisite: Complete “Tuchanka: Turian Platoon”
  • Location: Krogan DMZ – Aralakh – Tuchanka

This side mission can be launched in a slightly unusual way: instead of speaking with an NPC who requests it, you can start it by locating the actual quest item yourself.

After you finish “Priority: Sur’Kesh”, you’ll unlock the “Tuchanka: Turian Platoon” side mission. That, in turn, unlocks “Tuchanka: Bomb”—and that’s the specific side mission tied to the schematic you’re after.

Near the end of “Tuchanka: Bomb”, you’ll catch sight of the named Bomb using a View Prompt. Then you’ll go up a ladder, drop down to a lower level, and turn left to peer down a very long corridor.

At the far end of that area, you’ll find a space where a Combat Technician has set up a turret. Look for a cluster of cube-like crates and containers, plus a Med Kit positioned to the right. On top of one of the smaller cube crates, you can pick up the Turret Control Schematics.

If you somehow missed the Biotic Amp Schematics during “Tuchanka: Bomb”, you can still cover the requirement back on the Citadel at Spectre Requisitions. There, you can buy the “Cerberus Turret Control Schematics” for 1,000 credits, and that purchase will also satisfy this quest’s objective.

Just be cautious when reading the item’s description—it’s written in a way that can technically reveal spoilers.

While you’re in the Krogan DMZ, it’s also worth grabbing the other Search and Rescue items that are available there.

Deliver the Schematics

  • Prerequisite: Complete “Priority: The Citadel 2”
  • Location: Serpent Nebula – Widow – Citadel – Presidium Commons

Once you’ve secured the turret control schematics, don’t rush to deliver them immediately. You’ll need to wait until after you’ve completed “Priority: The Citadel 2”.

After that main mission, head back to the Presidium Commons and make your way to the balcony just outside the large window, directly across from the apartments. You’ll find a C-Sec officer discussing how his men are getting fired on by Cerberus Turrets while they attempt to deactivate him. Speak with the officer to turn in the schematics and complete the side mission.
