“We Demand a Parlay” is the twenty-fourth main mission in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remastered and the opening assignment of Sequence 7. The game has you hunting pirates, but negotiations are also in motion—Edward’s trying to stay ahead by tracking down crucial plans. This walkthrough breaks down how to clear the area efficiently and where to grab Collectibles during the mission.
How to Start We Demand a Parlay
After finishing “The Siege of Charles-Towne,” you’ll be sent back to Nassau and into the Tavern. Head to the tables and take a seat to kick off the quest.
From there, the timeline jumps ahead to July 1718. Edward is working on a letter back home when the British begin arriving. At the same time, Hornigold is meeting with Woodes Rogers to discuss a pardon for the pirates.
Your job is to tail Hornigold and Rogers while avoiding detection. Since Nassau is packed with guards, the rooftops are the safest route to keep your distance.
Stay with them as they head toward the Tavern. Once you’re close, cross over and talk to Anne as the group moves on.
Steal The Plans
The next objective is the set of plans Anne mentions. You’ll need to head to the Fort in the northeast part of Nassau, at map coordinates 606, 766.
With so many soldiers redeployed to the Fort, expect heavy security the moment you arrive.
A good approach is to start from the southeastern side and scale the wooden sections there to begin searching. From the structure, jump across the trees and follow the route around and upward until you reach the northeast corner.
Once you’re standing on the Fort itself, use this route to clear it out and secure the important Collectibles:
- Make your way along the southwest edge, moving toward the Viewpoint.
- Hang from the Fort’s outer edge and whistle to drop as many soldiers as possible while you traverse.
- Climb to the top, then eliminate the three guards posted in this area.
- Drop down on the western side to grab the chest.
- Climb up again and synchronize.
- For a fast descent, leap off into the hay below.
- Pick up the chest beside the haystack here.
- Move south toward the bell, then wait until the brute walks away from it.
- Take out the soldier near the well.
- Cut the alarm.
- Hide in the bush near the alarm and ambush the brute so he can’t alert other guards. Whistle to lure him closer.
- Round the corner toward the plans and double assassinate the two guards nearby.
- Move in immediately and kill the last remaining soldier.
- Steal the plans.
After the cutscene finishes, the mission is essentially complete—just exit the Fort.
