Garden Heist Quest Guide for Sunburst Flower (City Town)

“Garden Heist” is a Quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure set in City Town, and it continues the story that began with “A Pretty Plot.” When you finish this Quest, you’ll add a brand-new Flower to your collection: the Sunburst. You’ll also gain access to new flower plots in City Town, which you can use not only for Sunbursts, but for other blooms you’ll grow later.

After clearing “A Pretty Plot,” you can’t immediately start the next step. Instead, you need to wait until Night or fast-forward to nighttime by sleeping in a bed or using Pekkle’s Companion Ability. Once the time hits night, Wish me mell shows up either on the west-side beach in City Town or inside Keroppi’s Orchard, with the exact location depending on how much time has passed since you completed “A Pretty Plot.”

Next, the Quest splits into two practical goals: get your planting setup ready, then cap off the whole sequence with something sweet. First comes preparing the flower plots, and then comes the celebratory boba tea plan.

Set Up Flower Plots

Start by talking to Wish me mell, then follow her to where she wants the City Town flower plots built: the grassy park on the west side of City Town, positioned north of the beach and south of the Rainbow Tower. Before you can place anything, though, Usahana interrupts and immediately wants to know what’s going on.

Wish me mell runs out of excuses and finally tells the truth to Usahana—which, naturally, makes Usahana happy. From there, the three of you team up to set the flower plots in place. Once the setup is done, you’ll still need to complete one key action: plant a single seed in any of the City Town plots you just created.

If you’re wondering where to get seeds, there are a couple of routes. Seeds spawn around Merry Meadow daily, and you can also obtain them by winning Mystery Seed Capsules through playing Crane Craze.

Celebrate With Boba Tea

With the waiting portion of the Quest still in effect (flowers don’t grow instantly), it’s time to pivot to celebration. Talk to Usahana, and she’ll suggest heading to the Imagination Cafe for boba tea. At the Chef’s Station, you’ll need to make the following items:

- Sakura x 3 — picked from trees in Merry Meadow
- OPTIONAL
  - Tapioca x 3 — purchased at the Imagination Cafe PC using City Coins
  - Coral Milk x 3 — found in Rainbow Reef
  - Honeycomb x 3-9 — Wish me mell’s return gift
Tea Leaves x 3 — purchased at the Imagination Cafe PC using City Coins
Sakura x 3 — picked from trees in Merry Meadow

Once you’ve prepared the Sakura Boba Tea, give one cup to both Usahana and Wish me mell. After that, the Quest finishes as you celebrate the newly planted flowers.

When “Garden Heist” is complete, you can finally grow Sunbursts in City Town’s plots. You can also grow them in Wheatflour Wonderland or the Merry Meadow Greenhouse. The Sunburst’s default look is an orange color with a Sunbeam pattern—described as bright bands of color on its petals.
