Hello Kitty Island Adventure: City Town Fashion Week Locations Guide
City Town Fashion Week wraps up Tuxedosam’s fashion show storyline in the City Town area of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. He first got the spark from “Fashion Forward” and “Tailor’s Block”, then put together outfits for friends across “The Fruits of Fashion,” “Critter Couture,” “Vogue Rogue,” and “Super Style.” After all that design work, the questline culminates with “Runway Ready”—but you’ll still need to follow one important timing rule before you can start the City Town event.
Quest start rules and the lead-in story
Once you complete “Runway Ready,” you can’t immediately jump into City Town Fashion Week. You must wait until the next real-world day before the event becomes available.
When it’s time, you can begin by talking to Tuxedosam in his shop. From there, the quest is organized around a checklist of model check-ins and fashion-show tasks.

Checklists: who you must speak to
After you talk to Tuxedosam, he says the fashion show is finally ready to begin. He wants you to confirm that the models have their outfits and are prepared. You can speak with them in any order.
These are the characters you need to check, along with the spots they’re most likely to be:
- Hello Kitty — in her Cafe
- Badtz-Maru — at his comic stand at the Resort Docks
- Chococat — near the Crafting Table at the Resort Gate
- Cinnamoroll — either beside the Resort Plaza Mailbox or somewhere in City Town
When you’re done, return to Tuxedosam. He’ll ask you to meet him in the Theater so the show can start.
It’s Fashion Show Time: fixing the lineup
Inside the City Town Theater, talk to Usahana to kick things off. Hello Kitty goes first and the moment starts smoothly—then the problems begin almost right away.
Help Cinnamoroll
When My Melody calls for Cinnamoroll, he doesn’t come onstage. Talk to Tuxedosam, then Cinnamoroll to learn he’s nervous. You step in to offer a walk-with plan, and Tuxedosam agrees to the help.
To get Cinnamoroll ready, change into an outfit that includes at least two pieces of City Town-tagged clothing. One example is using outfit parts that Tuxedosam previously gave you during “Fashion Forward” and “Tailor’s Block.” After dressing up, talk to Cinnamoroll again so you can go onstage together. Also take a selfie of both of you on the stage.
Help Badtz-Maru
Next up is Badtz-Maru—but he still doesn’t make it to the stage. Talk to Tuxedosam, then Badtz-Maru to find out what’s wrong. Before the show, Badtz-Maru decided to eat an entire pizza to hype himself up, but now he feels too unwell to participate.
Tuxedosam tells you that you’ll need to jump in onstage and model the clothing that Badtz-Maru was supposed to wear. He provides the following items:
- Gold Resting Sunglasses
- Navy Metallic Jacket
- Gold Shiny Pants
Put on the outfit by selecting the pieces from your Inventory, then talk to Tuxedosam to head onstage. While you’re posing, take a picture with your Camera.
Help Chococat
My Melody calls Chococat, and once again the answer is “not yet.” Talk to Tuxedosam—he explains that he doesn’t believe Chococat is actually inside the Theater.
Leave the Theater to locate Chococat just outside, then talk to him there. It turns out he got distracted watching Critters. He’s still excited to take part in the fashion show, but you won’t need to go onstage with him this time. Talk to Tuxedosam to confirm Chococat is safe, and then watch Chococat perform.
Finish The Show
Talk to Usahana, who is the final participant. She tells you she wants you onstage with her and hands you an outfit inspired by her style.
Go into your Inventory and equip the following items:
- Usahana Flower Jacket
- Usahana Skirt and Leggings
Once you’re onstage with Usahana, take a selfie of the two of you.
Now it’s time for the grand finale. Usahana asks everyone to come onstage together, including Tuxedosam. Take a group photo of everyone onstage to mark the successful fashion show.
To close out the quest, talk to Tuxedosam. He thanks you for helping him find inspiration in City Town, and he also shares that he feels like there’s still more work ahead in the colorful town.
