Meet the Mechanic

  • Location: Omega Nebula – Sahrabarik – Omega – Aria’s Bunker

You can begin Omega: Assist the Mechanic once you clear the opening mission The Invasion of Omega. After that, you’ll wind up at Aria’s Bunker. Head to the main bunker control area and use the central hologram table as your reference point.

On the left side of the hologram table, you’ll find a Batarian in a white outfit standing in front of a terminal, seemingly stuck on tech problems—possibly even repairing or welding something away. Speak with him to learn he needs a Kehri Power Inverter, which starts the side mission.

Assist the Mechanic

You won’t be able to fully tackle the objective immediately. Toward the end of the next story mission, Talon Territory, you’ll reach the Talon Outpost alongside Nyreen and get your first introduction to Adjutants.

When the cutscene finishes, check to your left for a pile of crates wrapped in netting. Look behind that pile near the floor lamp to find the Kehri Inverter the Mechanic is asking for. It even resembles the Aquarium VI—same sort of look.

Back in the Bunker

After you complete the defense of the Talon Outpost, you’ll be sent back to Aria’s Bunker. Return to the Mechanic, who’s in the same spot where you met him before. Turn in the task to earn +5 Reputation and 1,500 XP.
