If you’re hunting loot in Crimson Desert, the Traitor’s Spear is one of the more interesting rewards you can pick up in a hidden chapel-like area called The Forgotten Prayer Hall. Here’s the route, the puzzle setup, and the options you have to get through the laser hazard safely.

- You’ll face slow-moving lasers after descending; you can either disable them with Axiom Force or dash through to a locked gate.

- To exit the room and claim the spear, light two lanterns flanking the gate once you reach it.
Checklists
- Reward: Traitor’s Spear
This Treasure Chest is located in The Forgotten Prayer Hall, a secret spot that sits not too far northeast of Thalywnd, in Hernand.
To reach The Forgotten Prayer Hall, first travel to the Calphade Logging Camp. From there, take the path heading north until you come to a crossroads. At that point, you’ll notice a small two-story building under construction beside stacks of planks.
Go up to the structure, and look for a trapdoor concealed on the ground level. Open it and climb down to arrive at The Forgotten Prayer Hall.
Once you’ve descended the ladder, move down the nearby stairs—but don’t step into the next room immediately. In the following chamber, you’ll trigger several lasers that lock onto your position, though they do so at a slow pace.
You have two ways to handle this section. One method uses Axiom Force to grab the orbs that emit the laser beams from the statues across the room. Destroying those sources will eliminate the laser threats; depending on what you’re targeting, you may also need Force Current to fully break some of them.
Each laser you take out also pays you back with Abyss Cells and special Power Cores. These can include Power Core – Verse of Sowing among the unique drops.
The alternative is more speed-focused: dash across the room toward the locked gate while the lasers are still unable to reach you. This approach can be dangerous, since taking damage is easy if you’re not fast enough.
Now, regardless of whether you destroyed the laser system or simply pushed through, make your way to the locked gate on the far side of the room.
At the gate, light the two lanterns positioned on opposite sides. Once both are lit, the gate opens.
Inside, the Traitor’s Spear sits on the prayer altar, ready for you to claim.
