Pokémon Unite Launches Limited-Time Login Rewards With Free Pokémon and Cosmetics
Pokémon Unite is rolling out a new limited-time promotion that lets players claim free Pokémon, Holowear cosmetics, License Points, and additional goodies—so long as they keep up with the login schedule. July 2026 is shaping up to be a major period not only for Pokémon Unite, but for the broader Pokémon releases and announcements too. Pokémon GO is marking its 10th anniversary in July, Pokémon TCG is set to debut its Pitch Black expansion this month, and Japanese retail shelves will also be stocked with Pokémon Plakoro. On the Pokémon Unite side specifically, the game is also celebrating an anniversary in July 2026—bringing both new content and a steady stream of giveaways.
Summer has historically been packed with Pokémon-related releases and announcements, and more reveals could arrive during the Pokémon World Championship in August. Recent Pokémon Winds and Waves leaks claimed seven new Pokémon are on the way, while other leak chatter suggests that Gen 10 won’t return in 2026. Meanwhile, Pokémon Pokopia is reportedly getting DLC soon, with additional updates expected in the following months. For Pokémon Unite, the rollout is already underway: Yveltal is available to obtain as of July 3, and more Legendary Pokémon are expected to arrive alongside further free rewards for players who meet the participation requirements.
Pokémon GO has also confirmed the bonuses and Pokémon lineup for its upcoming 10th anniversary celebration, including a very rare Pokémon.
Pokemon Unite Giving Away Free Rewards for a Limited Time
Pokémon Unite is distributing Holowear, Pokémon, License Points, and other rewards via a set of login events. The first campaign began on July 1 and runs through July 14, offering 14 separate rewards to collect. The catch is that players can’t obtain every item—such as the License Points and the Yveltal License Art—without logging in each day. To keep the anniversary momentum going, the promotion is planned to repeat every 14 days for the next new launch, with one cycle focused on Palkia, Reshiram, and Solgaleo. A Premium Holowear Selection Box is scheduled for July 21, which is the day of the anniversary itself. In addition, there’s a separate free login event that can reward players with up to five Pokémon and five Holowear, as long as they log in for 10 total days.

The free Pokémon and Holowear login event is set to provide a Selection Box for each Pokémon role category in Pokémon Unite. The first day offers an Attacker Pokémon, and the remaining rewards roll out afterward in sequence. There’s also an important limitation: players can only claim Pokémon Unite licenses that were already available before September 5, 2025.
Even though the login event is handing out free Holowear, the Premium Holowear Selection Box is restricted to July 21. That timing suggests it may tie into the Palkia login bonus run, since the Legendary Pokémon is launching on July 17. Pokémon Unite has recently added the Kanto Legendary Birds and Johto starters, and it appears the game isn’t planning to slow down on new additions anytime soon.
