Messi found the net in the second half as Miami looked to turn the match in their favour, but Nashville responded in stoppage time to secure a point away from home.
The result leaves Nashville firmly in control of the Eastern Conference race, with Inter Miami unable to cut into the gap despite Messi’s contribution.
