Moonlight Peaks Guide: Every Magic Spell and How to Unlock Them

One of the things that sets Moonlight Peaks apart from the usual farming sim loop is how supernatural it leans. Since you’re Dracula’s child, it makes sense that the town of Moonlight Peaks would give you a way to tap into real magical ability—and that’s exactly what you’ll be doing as you settle in and start building your power. If you’re trying to understand what magic does and how to unlock it, this guide walks through getting your first spells and upgrading your magical toolkit.

You’ll also want to know how to earn rewards using the Net. In Moonlight Peaks, you can catch Skull Blobs and other critters with the Net, and you can obtain that Net in Moonlight Peaks using the included guide.

How to Unlock Magic & Spells in Moonlight Peaks

To begin, you need to complete the quest titled “The Magic of Crops.” You’ll find it by reading a letter from Luna during Spring. Once Luna explains the basics—starting with barns—you can push the quest forward until you learn your first spell directly from her.

After that, a moon-cycle interface will appear, and you’ll be taught Aquaflux 1. A watering can shows up and starts automatically watering Luna’s magic plants, effectively giving you spellcasting right away. You’ll also receive your first wand: the Fixed Wand. As you progress, you can later upgrade to the Witch’s Wand.

How To Get All Other Spells

Once you’ve gotten the basics down, additional spells don’t come from quests—you can buy them at the Webb of Wonders through Sabrina. If you want to cast a specific spell and aren’t sure what wand motion it expects, open the Grimoire using the last tab in your menu, then check the Spells section. On the right-hand page, a glowing ball of light will indicate the sequence you need to move your wand for each spell.

And if you’re building relationships as you play, Luna and Sabrina are both dateable characters in Moonlight Peaks, making them good picks if you want a romance option that fits the game’s more magical, helpful vibe.
