Mass Effect 3 Citadel Target Jamming Technology Walkthrough Guide
Mass Effect 3’s Citadel side mission “Target Jamming Technology” is a small but useful errand: you’ll track down jamming data, fight through a pair of AA gun setups, and then hand the information back to a C-Sec contact. Meet the C-Sec Officer
- Prerequisite: Complete “Priority: The Citadel 2”
- Location: Serpent Nebula – Widow – Citadel – Presidium Commons – Apollo’s Cafe
After finishing “Priority: Citadel 2,” head to Apollo’s Cafe. That’s where Matriarch Aethyta said you’d find a turian C-Sec officer. He’s using his omnitool to scan a scorched vending machine mounted on the wall. When you get close, you’ll catch him talking on the radio about how jamming technology—similar to what the geth use—could be used to save lives on the Citadel.
Find Target Jamming Technology
- Prerequisite: Complete “Priority: Geth Dreadnought”
- Location: Perseus Veil – Tikkun – Rannoch
The Jamming Tower Data is collected during the “Rannoch: Admiral Koris” mission. That mission becomes available once you’ve completed “Priority: Geth Dreadnought.”
Late in this side mission, you’ll need to take out two AA Gun positions—one on the left and one on the right. Each AA gun has a Mounted Turret nearby. After you disable the first AA gun, you’ll open a tunnel corridor that leads directly toward the other side.
To reach the left-side turret area efficiently, go to the end of the corridor that connects to the left turret. Stop at the doorway and orient yourself toward the AA Gun, then move left down the ledge. Watch the left-hand wall for a terminal that glows orange. Interact with it to obtain the Jamming Technology Data.
If you somehow missed the Jamming Technology Data during “Citadel: Target Jamming Technology,” you can still recover it by visiting Spectre Requisitions on the Citadel. There, you can purchase the Geth Target-Jamming Tech for 1,000 credits, and buying it also satisfies this quest’s requirement.
Deliver the Target Jamming Technology
Once you have the Jamming Technology Data, return to the Citadel and speak with the C-Sec officer to hand it over. Completing the delivery grants 30 XP, +5 Reputation, 1,000 credits, and increases the Citadel Defense Force by +8 TMS.
