LEGO Confirms E.T. Brick Set for Summer 2026 After Early Leaks

LEGO has confirmed the long-rumored E.T. set, bringing the iconic alien from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film into brick form. The new licensed model is set to arrive later in summer 2026.

Like many LEGO releases, this one wasn’t a total surprise. The set reportedly leaked early, including via a packaging image, but the leak still didn’t reveal the full story behind what makes the build stand out—its standout posing capabilities.

LEGO Reveals a Highly Posable E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Set

LEGO announced its new E.T. set on July 3, presenting a large, brick-built likeness of the title character. The company is positioning the model as especially posable—even by LEGO’s own flagship standards. The build totals 1,226 pieces and includes a fully articulated neck capable of rotating 360 degrees. It also features a mouth that can open, plus detailed arms with rotating shoulders, articulated wrists, and fingers that can be posed.

For collectors and fans, the set is identified as product number 21370. LEGO says the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial set will launch as part of its August 1 release wave.
