Hello Kitty Island Adventure: City Keys Guide for All 13 Puzzle Rooms
In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, City Keys are essential for getting through the Puzzle Rooms in the City Town Sewers. Since there are 13 Puzzle Rooms in that area, players will need a total of 13 City Keys to unlock them all—making this a key checklist for anyone trying to clear the region efficiently.

City Keys as Quest Rewards
You’ll earn one City Key by completing each of these Quests:
- Above and Below
- Daydreams and Drains
- Gone Underground
Important detail: the City Key tied to “Above and Below” is handed out during the Quest, not after it finishes. You also need to use it right away to unlock and complete the “Underground Introductions” puzzle room. For everything else, other City Keys can be used however you like, and the remaining puzzle rooms can be tackled in any order.
City Keys from the Imagination Cafe
You can earn up to four City Keys by fulfilling orders at the Imagination Cafe. Until you’ve collected all four, any Cafe order can award a City Key with a small chance once you complete it.
There’s also a daily limit: you can receive only one City Key per real-world day from Cafe orders, and it won’t happen every day. Still, since you can complete as many as 100 orders per day, it’s strongly recommended to do as many as you can each day until you’ve obtained all four keys—because that boosts your overall odds of getting them sooner.
City Keys Around City Town
In addition to quests and the Cafe, there are three City Keys placed in fixed locations across City Town. They’re located here:
- Inside the fountain directly in front of the Imagination Cafe
- Underneath the bridge that connects the main City Town area to East City Park
- In the bushes on the purple hexagonal rooftop with a wire platform and stairs on it, on the northern set of City Town rooftops (south-west of the East City Rooftop fast travel mailbox)
City Keys In The Sewers
Underneath City Town, there are three City Keys hidden throughout the Sewers. Use the following routes to find each one:
- From the Upper Sewer Fast Travel Mailbox, head left until you pass through a pipe into the next area. The City Key is under the metal platform, beside some colorful barrels.
- From the Upper Sewer Fast Travel Mailbox, go forward and jump down one level. Then go down the ladder in front of you. The City Key will be to your right, placed next to a metal railing.
- From the Lower Sewer Fast Travel Mailbox, head right. Go down the ladder, then climb up the right-sloping path. About halfway along, you’ll reach a large waterfall with a ladder next to it. Jump down one level just to the left of the waterfall to land on a platform that has a City Key on it.
