Disney Dreamlight Valley: Unlock Randal Ralph with the Pixel Perfect update

Disney Dreamlight Valley is adding its next blockbuster character to the life sim: Randal-Ralph (from Wreck-It Ralph) arrives with the free update “Pixel Perfect”, bringing a new friendship path and a multi-step quest chain to unlock him in your valley.

What you need before Ralph can join

To start playing through Ralph’s addition, you must first complete the related prerequisite content. The game requires that you have unlocked “Das Vergessen” and Peter Pan. Unlocking those involves finishing the quest “Die Musik an den Wänden”.

After meeting the requirements, you’ll be given an additional task connected to “Fortsetzen?”, plus a world event involving a glitch you’ll need to investigate as part of the questline.

How to begin “Fortsetzen?”

Once everything above is handled, check your quest list for “Fortsetzen?”. From there, head to the entrance of the Dream Castle and speak with the Arcade machine.

The arcade machine then guides you through steps that take you to Scrooge McDuck’s store, where you’ll have to deal with a cable clutter problem before it disappears again.

Arcade machine locations and the glitch chain

Next, you’ll need to locate the arcade machine again. This time, it’s hidden in the treehouse in the Forgotten Lands, and the quest will prompt you to follow the next objectives.

After that, you must go to Vanellope’s house, where another arcade-related glitch is hiding. Speak with Ralph’s girlfriend, then follow the quest steps until Ralph appears as a glitching outline inside the room.

Cooking the recipe: the “Mein Held” cookie

Soon after the glitch encounter, Vanellope decides to cook something special. The required recipe is the “Mein Held” cookie, made with:

• Butter
• Wheat
• Any spice

Bring the cookie to Vanellope. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fix the situation—Ralph remains trapped in the glitch.

Final step: insert the Arcade Coin

After the dialogue ends, pick up the Arcade Coin from the floor and place it into the arcade machine. With that done, the quest completes.

Place Ralph’s new home and unlock his friendship

To bring Ralph fully into your valley, you then place Ralph’s new house in your town. This costs 10,000 Gold from Scrooge McDuck.

After Ralph is in place, you can begin his next quest, “Anonyme Böse: Gruppe des Tals”, and then work through his friendship rewards.
