Chelsea, Bayern and Barcelona Track Brighton’s Luka Vuskovic
Brighton & Hove Albion’s Luka Vuskovic has quickly emerged as a name attracting elite attention, with Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all reported to be following the 19-year-old centre-back. The Croatia international joined Brighton this summer in a deal initially worth £46 million after spending the previous campaign at Hamburg on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, and his immediate focus is understood to be on Brighton’s push for a Champions League place.
Real Madrid forward Endrick could also be central to the January window. Roma and AC Milan have interest in the Brazil international, whose opportunities at the Bernabéu have been limited. Although José Mourinho has publicly insisted that Endrick will remain, a move has not been ruled out and Roma are viewed as a plausible destination should Madrid approve a departure.
Atlético Madrid are considering making Jonathan David’s stay permanent by activating a €25 million clause in his Juventus loan agreement. The 26-year-old has scored three times in five league appearances this season and is open to continuing in Spain, with the clubs expected to discuss the situation.
Arsenal and Liverpool have intensified their monitoring of Galatasaray midfielder Aleksey Batrakov. Scouts from both Premier League clubs watched the 21-year-old Russia international score in Galatasaray’s 4-2 victory over Lille, while Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are also keeping him under observation. His contract includes a €60 million release clause.
Aston Villa are not expected to pursue a permanent deal for Chelsea loanee Alejandro Garnacho unless the winger’s form improves. Villa could manage his minutes to avoid activating an obligation based on appearances, having previously taken a similar approach with Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott.
Further market developments
Arsenal are also assessing a possible double recruitment from the Bundesliga and Belgian football, with Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Can Uzun and Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi under consideration. At Bayern Munich, Barcelona’s Dani Olmo has been linked with a return, but the midfielder is not seeking an exit from Camp Nou.
Chelsea may listen to proposals for right-back Malo Gusto, who is being watched by Liverpool, Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain. Brighton, meanwhile, are unlikely to sanction Diego Gómez’s departure in January despite interest from Atlético and Milan.
Arsenal have added Bayern’s 17-year-old goalkeeper Leonard Prescott to their list of watched players as he approaches a significant contract decision. Tottenham could be willing to consider selling Destiny Udogie in 2027, but only if a major offer arrives for the defender.
Jadon Sancho wants to speak with Getafe’s head coach before choosing whether to join the LaLiga side as a free agent. Elsewhere in Madrid, Antonio Rüdiger remains committed to Real Madrid despite reported Tottenham interest.
Sabah FK winger Joy-Lance Mickels is targeting a January switch to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Napoli have also continued their striker scouting, with Monza forward Gustavo Varela recently watched during his side’s match against Torino.
