A Thief in the Market
When the quest starts, you’ll find Rhona on the western side of Havana. Talk to her to begin A Thief in the Market, then get ready to follow a trail that starts at the local market.
Rhona will send you to investigate a theft at a market to the northeast. Head there and start scanning for the wrongdoer by looking for suspicious behavior among the shoppers.
Your first target is a Spanish merchant positioned at the southwestern corner of the market. He doesn’t provide much in the way of useful details, so listen to what he says, then move on to the next lead.
Next, check another Spanish merchant a few steps north near his stall. He’s hunched over by the tomato plants and red rugs, and he’s the next person you can question for information.
After speaking with both merchants, take a seat on the nearby bench to blend into the environment. While you’re hidden among the crowd, the pickpocket will go for an NPC nearby—then immediately make a break for it.
Once you see the theft happen, chase the pickpocket heading southwest. He isn’t particularly quick, so you don’t need risky parkour—just sprint after him through Havana’s open streets.
Eventually, the thief will reach a dead end after climbing stairs to a patio. Progress forward will require parkour, and the pickpocket isn’t equipped for it, so he’ll hold up there if you fall behind during the chase.
When you catch up, take him down. He’ll pull out a sword and try to fight back, but a fast counter takedown should end the confrontation quickly. If you want another option, you can also kick him into the wall using R2 + Square to perform a wall takedown.
Finish by looting his body and reading the letter to complete the quest. If any guards noticed you during that short duel, you’ll need to go anonymous before the quest can successfully finish.
