Apple TV Subscription Pricing: Standalone Plan vs Bundles and Trials

Apple TV’s subscription setup is simpler than most streaming services: there’s one standalone plan, plus a few ways to bundle it with other memberships. If you’re trying to decide whether to subscribe solo or stack deals, the options break down into pricing, trial eligibility, and what the catalog is actually built around.

Quick facts

  • Apple TV currently has one standalone subscription plan.
  • You can also get Apple TV through bundles like Apple One or with Peacock Premium.
  • Standalone monthly pricing is $12.99 per month as of June 2026.
  • Standalone includes an ad-free experience and supports 4K streaming across most content.
  • A seven-day free trial is available for people signing up for the service itself.
  • Apple device buyers may qualify for three months free.
  • Apple One can provide 30 days free, but only if you haven’t subscribed to Apple TV before.

Checklists

Apple TV currently offers just one standalone subscription plan. You can also bundle the service with Peacock Premium, or have it included through an Apple One subscription.

Standalone Apple TV Plans

Apple TV+ Free Trial

Apple TV started out as Apple TV+ with a single paid plan priced at $4.99 per month. By June 2026, the service supports both monthly and yearly billing, with monthly subscriptions set at $12.99 per month.

Because there’s only one subscription tier, the plan you buy is the ad-free option. You’ll also get access to 4K streaming on essentially everything in the catalog. There is an annual subscription available as well, but you’ll need to sign in after subscribing to switch over to the yearly option.

What’s worth watching on Apple TV?

Apple TV’s lineup is centered on its own original shows and movies. Since the service launched, its library has expanded to include widely discussed titles such as Ted Lasso, Severance, and Shrinking.

If you want to browse everything Apple TV has produced, you can look through the full set of Apple TV Originals. Alternatively, you can jump straight to the most recent July 2026 release schedule.

Apple TV Bundles

See All Bundle Plans

There are two main ways to bundle Apple TV right now: through Apple One or via the Peacock Premium bundle.

Apple One is designed to combine multiple Apple services in one subscription, including Apple Music and Apple Arcade. Peacock Premium bundles follow a more traditional streaming-combo model aimed at saving money. You can also add Apple TV through the Prime Video add-on, but that route doesn’t come with any discount.

Free Trials

Apple TV includes several free trial options for new customers. If you’re subscribing to the service by itself, you can start with a seven-day free trial. If you recently bought an Apple device, you may qualify for three months of free service instead.

You can also get 30 days free through Apple One, but that offer only applies if you haven’t previously been subscribed to Apple TV.
