AC Milan Plan Improved Deal for Breakout Forward Alphadjo Cisse
AC Milan are preparing to reward Cisse’s fast start in the first team with improved terms, despite the 19-year-old already being tied to the club until the summer of 2030.
The forward has scored five times in his first seven Milan appearances and produced his most emphatic performance in Thursday’s 4-0 Europa League win over RB Salzburg, when he struck a perfect hat-trick and collected the man-of-the-match award.
Contract plans
- Milan signed Cisse from Hellas Verona at the close of the January transfer window earlier this year.
- He remained away from San Siro on loan for the rest of the 2025-26 season, joining Catanzaro in Serie B.
- Cisse scored six goals across 22 league appearances for Catanzaro, providing the attacking return that persuaded Milan to move for him.
- His immediate contribution after joining Milan’s senior squad has brought forward plans for a revised agreement.
- Initial formal talks with the player’s representatives could begin by the end of next week.
- The club want to complete the renewal before the end of the calendar year.
Cisse is reported to earn €800,000 a season under his current deal. Milan expect that figure to increase substantially if an agreement is reached, reflecting his growing importance in the squad.
European breakthrough
The Salzburg match gave Cisse another notable place in the record books. His three goals made him the youngest Italian to score a hat-trick in a major European competition.
Milan now regard the proposed extension as a priority, with the teenager quickly developing from a newly recruited prospect into a regular match-winning option. His next challenge will be sustaining that form through a demanding run of domestic and European fixtures while negotiations progress.
