LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade Cabinet Leak: $200 Set Reportedly Coming Next Month
A new LEGO leak is floating around online, pointing to a $200 Donkey Kong Arcade Cabinet set that’s reportedly slated to arrive next month.
LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade Cabinet details emerge
A post on the r/Legoleak subreddit shared an image of the proposed arcade machine set, showing it built with a detailed layout and the classic characters in their familiar spots.
The display includes Donkey Kong, Jumpman (also known as Mario), and a captured Princess Peach. At the base, the model appears to include multiple arcade-style controls, including several buttons and an arcade stick. The top of the cabinet is marked with bold red letters reading “DONKEY KONG.”
On the listing itself, the set is labeled as ages 18+ and includes 1,367 pieces. The expected release date is listed as August 1.
While more photos haven’t surfaced yet, the design does suggest the cabinet may include some kind of interaction. It could take inspiration from the older retro Super Mario NES LEGO set, which let players turn a crank to scroll through a classic Mario Bros. stage. If LEGO follows that idea here, the added dials or buttons could be used to make Jumpman jump or help move barrels through levels.
More LEGO x Nintendo releases to watch
LEGO fans also have plenty to look forward to beyond the arcade cabinet. A new batch of LEGO Pokémon sets is expected in October, featuring builds for Munchlax, Arcanine, and Rayquaza. The standout is the Poké Ball set, which includes minifigures for Red and Professor Oak.

Possible LEGO Sim City-style set, plus what’s next
Shifting back to video games, LEGO also appears set to expand into city-building territory. A listing for LEGO Skylines reportedly showed up via a ratings-board filing, though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
With the Donkey Kong cabinet leak still unverified beyond the images and listing details, and additional LEGO/Nintendo items on the calendar, the next step is simple: watch for more official reveals—or more leaks that confirm whether the arcade model’s controls are purely display pieces or part of a real interactive gimmick.
