Echoes of Aincrad: All Blueprint Locations for Crafting Better Gear

Echoes of Aincrad expands its progression by leaning heavily on crafting. You’ll pick up a handful of recipes through the main story, but most of the new weapons and armor worth chasing come from tracking down blueprints scattered across the world. Once you know where to look, crafting becomes a repeatable loop: gather the right materials, forge the gear, and keep pushing for better rolls.

Crafting Basics: How Blueprints Turn Into New Gear

After you find a blueprint, you don’t need to hunt for special workbenches or rare crafting stations. Instead, head back to the Smithy located in any town and speak with them to forge your newest weapon or armor using the materials you collected during your adventures.

One important detail: the bonus effects on crafted equipment are randomized. That means if you want the absolute best version of a piece of gear, you’ll need to farm materials in bulk and craft repeatedly until the stats line up.

Where to Find Blueprints

Blue-print hunting isn’t limited to one activity. You can uncover these crafting blueprints in treasure chests and also receive them as rewards for side quests in Echoes of Aincrad.

The blueprint locations below are organized in the order they appear, and they’re written to function as a walkthrough—so you can treat each entry like a checklist for what you need to do at that point.

Every Blueprint Location in Echoes of Aincrad

Each location notes what quest you should be on and whether you’ll need extra tools to reach the blueprint. That can include clearing obstacles with a Bomb Stone or Mine, burning through brambles with a Flame Stone or Fire Mine, or defeating an Ark boss to open up a sealed route.

Bomb Stone or Mine: Destroy the Blocking Rocks

Some areas force you to deal with rocks that block your route. In these cases, you’ll need to use a Bomb Stone or Mine to destroy the obstacles and continue onward.

Flame Stone or Fire Mine: Burn Through Brambles

Other paths include brambles that can’t be passed normally. Here, you’ll use a Flame Stone or Fire Mine to burn the way clear and reach the blueprint.

Blinking Talisman: Jump, Then Dash to Blink Away

Certain blueprints are guarded by platforming challenges. You’ll need to jump across a platform and then dash away while “blinking” to avoid danger and keep moving toward the objective.

Ark and Seals: Find an Ark, Defeat the Boss, Unlock the Route

Some blueprints require progression through an Ark system. You must locate an Ark first, then defeat its boss to unlock a Seal—only after that sealed path becomes available.

Luminous Talismans: Optional for Dark Areas

There may be times when you encounter creepy, unlit caves that suggest using Luminous Talismans. They aren’t required, though—you can still travel through these areas in the dark. Because carrying them would take up space in your limited inventory, the walkthrough doesn’t list Luminous Talismans as mandatory requirements.

Follow the Path to Lily Pads

In at least one sequence, you’ll want to follow the dotting path until you reach lily pads you can traverse. Use that route to cross the area and continue toward the blueprint location.
