WWE 2K26 WrestleMania 42 DLC Announced With New Arenas and Wrestlers

Visual Concepts and 2K have announced fresh DLC for WWE 2K26 timed to WrestleMania 42, WWE’s biggest annual show. The new pack is designed to spotlight key moments from the event, adding fresh character options and new venues for players to recreate their favorite matches.

Quick facts

  • WWE 2K26 is getting WrestleMania 42 DLC to celebrate WWE’s annual event.
  • The DLC adds character variants for Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan.
  • New arenas are included, featuring Night 1 and Night 2 WrestleMania 42 layouts in Las Vegas.
  • Liv Morgan’s WrestleMania 42 variant includes her entrance theme, “Trouble,” which she debuted at the event.
  • The WrestleMania DLC is scheduled for release on August 19 and costs $9.99.

The update also leans into what makes WWE 2K a long-running staple for both longtime WWE fans and newer players. WWE 2K26 ships with a roster of more than 400 wrestlers, spanning current names like Roman Reigns and Jey Uso as well as all-time icons such as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage.

Beyond the size of the lineup, WWE 2K26 introduces major changes to some of the franchise’s most played modes. The MyRise experience gets a brand-new story, while Universe Mode adds the WWE Draft. With that foundation in place, the game is now turning its attention to WrestleMania by adding DLC content built around the event.

A separate note for wrestling-game fans: a “clone” of WWE 2K titles is reportedly using a knock-off version of Solo Sikoa as its cover star.

WWE 2K26’s WrestleMania DLC Includes New Character Variants and Arenas

WWE 2K26 has teased portions of its WrestleMania 42 DLC ahead of release. Visual Concepts will add two new arenas, each based on WrestleMania 42’s Night 1 and Night 2 presentations, set in Las Vegas.

Alongside the venues, the DLC expands the playable cast with three variant sets for well-known WWE stars. Players will receive new versions of Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan as part of the WrestleMania pack. Liv Morgan’s variant specifically includes her updated entrance theme, “Trouble,” introduced during WrestleMania 42 itself.

The WrestleMania 42 DLC for WWE 2K26 is set to arrive on August 19, priced at $9.99.

WrestleMania 42 is the through-line for this DLC, with the new content reflecting major story beats from the show. Night 1’s main event had Cody Rhodes defending the SmackDown Undisputed WWE Championship against fan-favorite Randy Orton, and Rhodes successfully retained the title.

Night 1 also featured Alexa Bliss in a Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Championship. Bliss teamed with Charlotte Flair, but the duo fell short when Brie Bella and Paige ultimately won.

Liv Morgan had her own championship moment at WrestleMania 42 as well, defeating Stephanie Vaquer to claim the Raw Women’s Championship.

WWE 2K26 has also been rolling out DLC consistently in recent weeks, including some surprising roster additions. Ringside Pass Season 3 launched in June 2026 with an unexpected playable debut for Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick, added as a surprise reward tied to the battle pass.

Looking ahead, a new variant of Trish Stratus is expected to appear with Ringside Pass Season 4. This upcoming release is based on her look from her WWE debut in 2000, and it’s slated to arrive as part of that next season’s content.

WWE 2K26 is aiming to keep the momentum going through later Ringside Pass seasons, with more recognizable WWE talent scheduled to join. Along with the anticipated Trish Stratus variant, Ringside Pass Season 4 launches on July 22 and will add fan-favorite tag team The Hardy Boyz, with Jeff and Matt Hardy both entering the game.

Later seasons will also bring first-time appearances for newer WWE superstars. Danhausen is expected to debut in Season 5, followed by Royce Keys in Season 6, as the playable roster continues to expand across each pass.
