Mission Rewards

  • Reputation: +5
  • Mission Credits: 15,000 credits
  • War Asset: +40 TMS to Alliance Engineering Corps

Travel to Widow

  • Prerequisite: Complete “Priority: The Citadel 2”
  • Location: Serpent Nebula – Widow – Citadel – Docks: Holding Area

Once you finish “Priority: The Citadel 2,” this side mission opens up. That main assignment refreshes the Citadel with fresh side content, including this one. The Citadel serves as the galaxy’s central hub and is always shown in the western region of the Milky Way.

Meet the Refugee

Go to the Citadel’s Docks: Holding Area, then push over to the far end of the eastern side, Bay E28. You’ll find a Refugee attempting—without success—to trade with a Turian C-Sec Officer for food. The Refugee claims that a valuable Prothean Sphere is located beyond Reaper lines.

Find the Prothean Sphere

  • Prerequisite: Complete “Priority: Rannoch”
  • Location: Hades Nexus – Sheol – Gei Hinnom

You can’t locate the Obelisk of Karza until later, after completing “Priority: Rannoch.” When you’re ready, head to the Hades Nexus area near the northeastern edge of the Milky Way. From there, fly west-northwest to the Shoel system, which uses roughly 230 fuel.

In this region, there’s only one key target: the planet Gei Hinnom. Since it’s the only stellar object tied to the objective, you still need to run a Scan to verify that something is actually present. Once confirmed, use the planetary scanner and deploy a Probe at the exact spot where the Prothean Sphere is located.

While you’re in the Hades Nexus, it’s also worth checking out the additional Search and Rescue items that are available there.

Deliver the Prothean Sphere

Head back to the Refugee at the Docks: Holding Area, then speak with him to confirm you’re carrying the Prothean Sphere he asked for. After the exchange, you’ll receive +5 Reputation, 15,000 credits, and +40 TMS to the Alliance Engineering Corps.
