Best Fashion Forever Quest Guide: Open Tuxedosam’s Outfit Emporium

“Best Fashion Forever” serves as the concluding Quest in the Hello Kitty Island Adventure City Town storyline centered on opening Tuxedosam’s Outfit Emporium—a shop launch that’s immediately derailed by the arrival of giant Critters. If you’ve already cleared the earlier Quests in the chain, such as “Mega City,” “Wings and Things,” and “Bouncing Buns,” you can start this final step right away by visiting Usahana in the City Center.

Why This Quest Matters for Players

This Quest isn’t just a “go here, do that” finale. It folds together several gameplay loops that players tend to care about: crafting specific consumables to move the story forward, sourcing ingredients from named characters and stations, and then unlocking a new customization system inside the emporium itself. The payoff is practical too—once the shop is open, you gain ongoing access to City Town-inspired clothing purchases using City Coins, plus a closet feature that lets you design and save outfits in one place.

  • The Quest directly unlocks Tuxedosam’s Outfit Emporium, which becomes a recurring source of City Coins clothing items.
  • It introduces a Closet customization workflow that lets you build full outfits from multiple clothing categories in a single session.
  • Progress depends on crafting Strawberry Mochi x 9 using a defined ingredient chain tied to specific in-game sources.
  • The narrative beat explains the “giant Critter” threat in a way that ties back into the emporium’s grand opening.

Checklists

“Best Fashion Forever” is the final Quest in the Hello Kitty Island Adventure City Town Quest chain. Completing “Mega City,” “Wings and Things,” and “Bouncing Buns” gives you the green light to begin this Quest immediately by speaking to Usahana in the City Center. From there, you’ll be working through a short checklist that includes opening and exploring the Outfit Emporium, plus collecting the Quest Rewards.

Open The Outfit Emporium

When you speak with Usahana, she admits she’s stressed because she hasn’t been able to support Tuxedosam much. Shortly after, Tuxedosam arrives and reassures Usahana. He then asks you both to attend the grand opening—setting up the next objective.

Head to the Outfit Emporium, positioned just to the right of Keroppi’s Orchard, near the City Rooftop Fast Travel Mailbox. Once you arrive, many other characters show up. Tuxedosam welcomes them, but then the problem hits: he apparently forgot the snacks.

Tuxedosam asks you to prepare Strawberry Mochi x 9 at the Imagination Cafe and bring them to the grand opening. To make them, you’ll need:

  • Rice Flour x 9 — crafted at Chef’s Station using Rice, which is Usahana’s return gift
  • Strawberry x 9 — obtained as Pochacco’s return gift

After you gift the Strawberry Mochi to Tuxedosam, everyone can enjoy their snacks as they celebrate the store opening. During the celebration, the group starts talking about giant Critters, including how frightening it would be if a giant Squeakle appeared—and then one does show up. Badtz-Maru gets scared again, and Usahana apologizes to Tuxedosam for his grand opening being ruined.

Explore The Outfit Emporium

Talk to Tuxedosam and Usahana. Tuxedosam tells Usahana he’s not actually upset, and he encourages you to check out the shop. Next, head inside—this is where a Dream Fragment appears. Usahana runs off to investigate something new, while you stay behind with Tuxedosam to continue exploring the Outfit Emporium.

Tuxedosam explains that beyond selling City Town clothes for City Coins, his Outfit Emporium also includes a Closet where you can design and store outfits. To use it, interact with the Closet located on the left side of the store, then create an outfit.

The process works by choosing one of the empty Slots and selecting up to five clothing pieces: Head, Back, Top, Bottom, and Glasses. Once you build your outfit, you can put on the full set by interacting with the Closet again, instead of swapping each item individually.

Talk to Tuxedosam one last time. Let him know you love the store, and the Quest will conclude.
