How to Start Nothing is True…

To kick off the mission, you’ll need to sail to the western side of the map. Your target is Conttoyor, located southwest of Havana, but the specific landing point you want is Tulum. Once you reach Tulum, dock the Jackdaw and move out on foot to the west to start tracking down James Kidd.

Instead of climbing the wooden wall structure in the west, consider taking the Viewpoint from the top of the shipwreck. It’s a cleaner route to get a better sense of the surrounding area before you commit to the next steps.

From the shipwreck, drop into the area below and take out the guard nearby on the beach. Then push south to deal with the second guard, who patrols close to the water.

Continue west around the boat and look for the opening on the left. Inside, you’ll find a chest—an easy grab while you’re already moving through the space.

Once you’ve cleared that area, head north toward the spot where you’ll find roughly four soldiers patrolling nearby. Use stealth: get into the bushes, whistle to draw them in, and remove them one at a time.

Work your way up the western path and clear out any soldiers you encounter. Then ascend the stairs and enter the next zone, where ruins begin to appear and the mission’s environment shifts into something more maze-like.

Keep an eye out for bushes throughout this section. They make stealth takedowns far more manageable. After you wipe out the initial threat, you can either head north into the ruins or follow the path toward the east.

If you choose the eastern route, watch for a gunner posted as overwatch. If you move carefully—slow and methodical—you can sneak through the bushes and climb up close to him without triggering an alert.

From there, use the tree branches to keep moving along the northwest route.

Eventually you’ll reach a waterfall. Guards are spread along the pathway leading up from it, so expect multiple points where you’ll need to pause, reposition, and pick off enemies before they spot you.

Take the stairs, follow the winding path, and eliminate anyone blocking your progress.

After the final brute is taken down, you can leap across the trees to reach the eastern path ahead.

Up next, you’ll see guards, but they won’t last long once an Assassin handles the immediate problem. After that quick sequence, James Kidd is waiting nearby.

Speak to Kidd

Go to the doorway where Kidd is stationed and speak with him. After the cutscene plays, you’ll be asked to follow Kidd into the Mayan Temple, and the mission will automatically transition into The Sage’s Buried Secret.
