Tottenham 2026-27 Kits: Nike Revives 80s and 90s Inspiration
Tottenham Hotspur’s 2026-27 kit range combines a return to familiar Lilywhite styling with far more adventurous concepts for the away and third shirts, as Nike draws on designs from both the 1980s and 1990s.
Tottenham Hotspur 2026-27 kit overview
| Kit | Main colours | Design reference |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Lilywhite and navy | Mid-1980s Spurs shirts |
| Away | Obsidian navy, pink, purple and orange | Digital, futuristic graphic |
| Third | Psychic Purple and New Orchid | Mid-to-late 1990s away kits |
The home shirt keeps Tottenham’s traditional Lilywhite foundation, with navy used across the collar, cuffs, side sections and embroidered club badge. Its key feature is a tonal diagonal texture integrated into the material, a detail intended to recall the Hummel-influenced looks worn by Spurs during the middle of the 1980s.
That restrained approach is sharply contrasted by the proposed away design. The shirt uses an Obsidian base but places a dense graphic across the front, with jagged diagonal streaks in electric pink, purple and bright orange. The pattern is designed to give the shirt a rapid, illuminated effect rather than the cleaner appearance of the home release.
Tottenham’s crest, the Nike mark and the AIA sponsor branding appear in white on the away shirt to stand out from the multicoloured front panel. The upper area of the back remains plain navy, providing a clearer space for squad names and shirt numbers.
The third kit takes a more explicitly retro direction. Psychic Purple forms the principal colour, joined by darker New Orchid detailing, while tonal geometric shapes sit beneath dark-purple vertical pinstripes on both sides of the shirt.
A fold-over polo collar with white edging completes the third design, which looks back to Tottenham’s colourful away strips from the mid and late 1990s.
