Saka Urges Arsenal Teen Max Dowman to Match Talent With Hard Work
Bukayo Saka has urged Arsenal teenager Max Dowman to match his exceptional ability with the work required to sustain a career at elite level, as the 16-year-old continues a record-breaking start to senior football.

Dowman has quickly become one of the most closely watched young players in English football after breaking into Mikel Arteta’s first-team group. Saka, Arsenal’s established attacking leader, said the midfielder-forward’s ceiling will depend on the choices he makes away from the immediate excitement around his emergence.
Saka described Dowman’s ability as extraordinary, but stressed that talent by itself will not decide how far the teenager progresses. He said Dowman’s potential was “crazy” and that the player himself would determine the extent of his future in the game.
