Real Betis to Play Home Matches at La Cartuja During Stadium Renovation
Real Betis will play away from the Benito Villamarín from 2025 to 2028 while renovation work is carried out at their usual Seville home, with Estadio de La Cartuja set to host the club’s home fixtures during that period.
Betis prepare for temporary stadium move
The Andalusian club are one of La Liga’s established sides and are based in Seville. Betis are recognised by their green-and-white striped shirts and are widely known as Los Verdiblancos.
Estadio Benito Villamarín has long been the setting for the club’s home matches, but the planned redevelopment means La Cartuja will become Betis’ matchday base for the 2025-26, 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons.
