Manchester United Offer Old Trafford Pitch Pieces to Fans for £125
Manchester United supporters can now buy a preserved piece of the Old Trafford playing surface after the club removed and replaced the pitch during summer work.

The preserved turf has been packaged as a collectible from a stadium central to United’s modern history. Old Trafford hosted the bulk of Sir Alex Ferguson’s major successes, including 13 Premier League championships and two Champions League wins, alongside multiple FA Cup triumphs.
The ground has also staged some damaging results for the club. Liverpool won 5-0 there, Tottenham recorded a 6-1 victory, and Brighton recently recovered from a two-goal deficit to win 3-2 in the Carabao Cup.
That Brighton defeat carried a notable historical marker: it was United’s first loss at Old Trafford after holding a half-time lead in 42 years.
The June renovation saw the old surface fully excavated before the new pitch was prepared. Parts of the removed grass were retained rather than discarded, allowing the club to turn them into the £125 boxed displays.
United will hope the rebuilt surface brings more reliable conditions on the field as the team looks to improve its results at home.
