How to Watch France at the 2026 World Cup: TV Channels and Streaming
FOX and FS1 will carry English-language coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, while Telemundo and Universo will provide Spanish-language broadcasts. France, seeking a third World Cup title, are listed to meet Sweden in the Round of 32.
Group-stage broadcast schedule
- June 16: Senegal v Iraq is scheduled for FOX.
- June 22: Iraq are due to play Norway on FS1.
- June 26: Norway’s next listed group-stage match will be shown on FOX.
FOX and FS1 are available through several streaming television providers, although local FOX availability can vary by service and market. Sling, for example, only carries local FOX affiliates in selected major metropolitan areas, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas. Viewers outside those areas may need an over-the-air antenna to receive FOX broadcasts.
Spanish-language coverage in the United States
Telemundo holds exclusive Spanish-language rights in the United States, with Universo carrying selected matches, simultaneous group-stage fixtures and additional programming. Telemundo and Universo have returned to Fubo following a distribution agreement with NBCUniversal.
Telemundo is included in Fubo’s standard English-language television package as well as its Latino plan. Universo is available through the Latino plan and can also be added through Latino Plus or the Extra package on the base English tier.
Peacock will stream all 104 World Cup matches live in Spanish, giving viewers a full-tournament online option.
Viewing options in France
French rights are shared by M6 and beIN Sports. M6 will show 54 matches free to air, including coverage intended to ensure France supporters can follow the national team without a subscription.
beIN Sports will televise all 104 matches across its pay-TV channels. M6’s matches will also be available through 6play, while beIN subscribers can stream the complete tournament through beIN CONNECT.
Free over-the-air option
In the United States, a digital television antenna can receive local FOX and Telemundo signals without a cable contract or internet connection. Basic indoor antennas are generally available for about $15 to $30.
That route includes major FOX fixtures, including the World Cup final, and Spanish-language Telemundo coverage offers an alternative for much of the tournament. Matches assigned to FS1 cannot be received with an antenna because FS1 is a pay-TV channel. Antenna viewers can also avoid streaming delay and receive an uncompressed HD signal.
