Endrick has urged footballers to keep their perspective on the pressures of the professional game, arguing that the rewards available at the top level can transform the lives of their families.

The Real Madrid forward, speaking while with Brazil on international duty, acknowledged that elite players encounter demanding moments but said their careers should not be compared with the daily routine faced by ordinary workers.

The Brazil international said players are able to pursue the job they love while earning money capable of improving their families’ circumstances, adding that gratitude should be the response to such an opportunity.

Endrick could return to the substitutes’ bench for Tuesday’s match in Brisbane after his start in Townsville. When Brazil’s trip is complete, he will head back to Spain seeking a larger role under Ancelotti at Madrid.
